Description:

We have an immediate opening for a Production Supervisor at our Fort Worth plant. This position is responsible for the production of quality and cost competitive products, produced on time to our customer’s satisfaction. This position will manage the shift supervisors and report directly to the VP of Operations.

Requirements

• Meet production requirements - responsible for product yields, product through put and direct labor cost.
• Supervises staff and operations to meet efficiency goals.
• Conduct supervisor meetings to review performance and action plan process improvements.
• Implement policies and procedures with supervisors and team members.
• Plan and assign work, train supervisors and team members, and has authority for discipline decisions.
• Maintaining product quality standards.
• Must have vocational training plus 5 years relevant experience in the food industry, especially with further processed beef and poultry with lean manufacturing experience.
• Must speak and read English, bilingual in Spanish a plus
• HACCP certified
• Implement GMP and SMP
• Experience with USDA
• Team player
